Summary:

Tetra Tech invites you to consider a rewarding opportunity within our Billings, Montana office as an Environmental Technician. As an Environmental Technician you will assist a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers collect real time field data at environmental remediation sites throughout the northern Rocky Mountains and Northern Great Planes. These projects help assure contaminates will not harm human health and the environment.

Your Role:

As a field technician you will be responsible for collecting soil, groundwater, air and industrial process water samples and submit them to analytical testing laboratories. You will also be responsible for tabulating the data for report preparation and risk analysis and organizing and maintaining field data. This position also is responsible for remediation system operations and maintenance activities and assists project scientists with overseeing other remedial activities such as pipeline breaks, truck roll-overs and excavations.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma is required and an AAS or BS is preferred. Organizational skill and experience with geographic positioning systems, tablets and common lap top based software along with mechanical aptitude is a plus. We will train the right applicant.

Target salary range: $ 40,000 to $ 50,000 . The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
