Our Information Services Department is adding to staff as a result of our growth and seeks a senior B2B web e-commerce Systems Analyst to join our E-Commerce technology team. This is an opportunity to be a key part of the team responsible for the operations of Medline.com and other applications. The Sr. Systems Analyst has essential responsibilities to lead & provide high-quality operational and technical application and systems support to Medline.com. Will own the incident management process, and minimize the adverse impact of Incidents on the business, as well as prevent the reoccurrence of Incidents.

This position has the flexibility of being located in our Mundelein or Chicago or Northfield Office.

Willing to come twice per month onsite.

Operational Responsibilities
• Provide technical leadership; lead and prioritize the application Support team's workload.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues across teams and vendors.
• Manage and own the incident management process. Develop, coordinate and promote the effective functioning of problem management activities across the e-commerce operations team.
• Utilize monitoring tools (like App Dynamics) to measure and improve the availability and performance of the Ecommerce websites. Rapidly respond to items such as errors, slow response times, and memory conditions.
• Partner with QA/QC teams to ensure that only high-quality software is deployed to production.
• Set Java - Java EE development standards, and coding best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality software by the development teams.
• Maintain production and non-production application environments. Ensure consistency of availability and behavior across environments. Respond to queries about how the system operates.
• Collaborate strategically to propose, research, estimate, and recommend technical innovations for B2B web commerce.
• Database proficiency: Can independently construct complex SQL queries that cross-functional areas.
• Role includes a combination of environment, infrastructure and configuration management responsibilities.
• Good understanding of the DevOps software development and delivery process (using Jenkins and other DevOps automation tools) in order to leverage the appropriate automation tools in a CI/CD model.

Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Systems Analyst responsible for an enterprise-class customer-facing Java-based web application required; experience as a Technical Lead or Application/Solutions Architect highly desired.
• Experience in implementing and/or supporting Bloomreach Search and merchandising platform is highly desired. We are willing to train the right exceptional candidate.
• Candidates with experience with Oracle ATG Web Commerce 11.3 platform (Oracle backend 11.2) will be given preference. We are willing to train the right exceptional candidate for this specialized skill.
• Experience integrating e-commerce systems with Middleware (SAP XI - PI), SAP ECC (Order-To-Cash), HANA, and ETL is highly desired.
• Experience with API management, preferably WS02 is highly desired.
• Experience with monitoring tools like App Dynamics, Splunk, etc.
• Extensive problem solving and debugging skills in a Java EE environment.
• Expert level with the following technologies: SQL, Java, Windows / Unix Scripting, Web Services
• At least Intermediate level in the following technologies: Data Analysis, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
• Experience in Agile methodology (Scrum, KANBAN, etc.) using the JIRA platform is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field
• Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities within a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be highly motivated and dependable with excellent communication and collaboration skills
