Job Description

Summary:

Perform all necessary installation, maintenance, and associate field work related to water meters, meter reading equipment, and water service appurtenances. Follows Suez and OSHA safety requirements and utilize the appropriate PPE while on the job. Represent Suez in a professional manor while on the job. Use provided field service tools and equipment to complete tasks as assigned. Operate company vehicle to travel to job sites. Basis computer skills with the ability to send and receive emails, access work orders through the use of company provided mobile devices, and ability to utilize Software. Use other tools related to the job including line locating devices, Valve and curb stop keys, meter pit wrench, and plumbing tools. Ability to response to emergencies or after hours.

Nature & Scope-Principal Areas of Responsibilities:

Installation, maintenance, and associated field work related to water meters, AMI equipment, and water service appurtenances.

Essential Functions:

Minimum physical requirements: Repetitive bending, kneeling, climbing, walking and lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to work intricately with hands.

Qualifications

Education/Equivalent:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience Needed/Preferred:

Desire two years of broad water utility distribution system experience, plumbing and/or electronics.

Special Skills/Abilities Desired:

* Excellent mechanical and plumbing skills

Computer and Technology aptitude
