The Radiant/PACS Analyst helps to support the daily operation of all Radiology Imaging Systems and assists with the support of interfaces to other clinical, financial, and support systems within Cooley Dickinson Health Care (CDHC). The Analyst assists the Administrative Director, IT with strategic planning for Radiology and/or Cardiology PACS related initiatives and functions as the Radiant/PACS Administrator. The Radiant/PACS Analyst functions as the Radiant Clinical Business Analyst (CBA) for any/all application concerns within the EPIC/Radiant platform, sometimes working with the core EPIC CBA team.
This position reports to the Administrative Director, Information Technology and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or BA/BS in Information Technology or related field, or skills and knowledge typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree required
Two to four years of Information Technology related experience preferred
Knowledge of Radiology Information Systems and Radiology workflow preferred
Strong technical knowledge of IS hardware, software, and network applications required
Understanding of HL7 and DICOM interface connections required
Project Management knowledge preferred
