Position Summary

The Sales Operations Senior Analyst will be a critical contributor to the Sales Strategy team and has the potential to create substantial value for the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales Operations Manager, broader W&S Sales Strategy team and Regional Sales & Commercial Finance teams to ensure financial, depletion and distribution growth goals are met in the right accounts, at the right price in a way that builds brand equity. This person will closely collaborate with Sales Operations Managers and Commercial Planning to evaluate and track Division level KPI goals and results related to distribution, new product development and E-Commerce initiatives. This includes analytics support to identify gaps and opportunities, develop national scorecards and ROI analysis. This person will also closely collaborate with data intelligence and BI teams to further drive data integrity and refine and elevate reporting metrics.

Responsibilities

•Provide consolidated national performance material to Sales Operations Leadership to help support decision-making and facilitate communication to the executive team.

•Facilitate Division level content for executive business reviews. Provide support and insightful analysis for key distributor executive business review meetings.

•Collaborate with CBI Regional and National Account Sales, Strategic Insights, Growth, Finance and Marketing teams to help drive consistency and effectiveness of reporting.

•Support monthly forecast process through forecast publication, tracking of forecast changes, trend analysis and gap to plan analysis.

•Support weekly allocation process through allocation gap to plan analysis and inventory coverage analysis.

•Conduct ad hoc analysis of CBI brand and portfolio performance across all sales and merchandising metrics; utilizing internal and external data sources.

•Assist in report building and data analytics across internal and external systems, with the goal of identifying “white space” business opportunities

•Drive process improvements related to data integrity such as distributor item mapping and depletion reporting through collaboration with Data & Analytics and Sales Operations Managers.

•Track execution of annual sales execution metrics, targets, and strategic initiatives

•Ongoing maintenance of target accounts and distribution to measure impact of go to market strategies and highlight strategic placements.

Minimum Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree required

•2-3 years’ experience in strategy consulting or CPG strategy (can include internships)

• Excellent Microsoft suite proficiency, including superior Excel skills

•Ability to build financial models in excel

•Excellent analytical skills and ability to understand and analyze multiple sets of complex data

•Strong aptitude for math, financial concepts and data analysis

•Strong written and verbal communication and storytelling skills

•Strategic mindset

•Demonstrated ability to use data and insight to persuade senior executives

•Project management experience and meticulous organization skills

• Ability to build strong relationships, initiate action, adjust to change and persuade at all levels, are key competencies of this role

• Strong executive presence

•Demonstrates an organizational savvy and energy to get things done

•Must be authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

•2-3 years of experience in an Alc/Bev analytic role, and ability to provide specific examples of analysis done including impact on the business.

•Experience working in a digital / ecommerce environment.

•Field Sales experience at the Distributor or Supplier level.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

•Must be at least 21 years of age

•Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods

•Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive a car and travel via plan/train as needed
