Security Coordinator (Hybrid) (Temporary-Full-Time) at Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations, Inc. in Irvine, California

Job Description:

The Security Coordinator is responsible for supporting the client's technology and systems, and will serve as the physical access control program coordinator. The Security Coordinator will support system implementations, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting to maintain system integrity. b>This position will have a hybrid work schedule (in office/remote). /b>

Essential Functions:

1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
2. Assist with the coordination and management of the client's technology and systems.
3. Coordinate and support the physical access control program;
   
   
   • Utilize technical expertise to serve as a first level troubleshooter for hardware or software issues that adversely impact the access control program.
   • Support access control platforms such as BRIVO or CCURE.
   • Ensure compliance with program requirements and client policies.
   • Conduct audits and address vulnerabilities, as required.
   • Organize and prepare detailed documentation of program performance.
   • Update training procedures or instructions, as necessary.
4. Effective collaborate with a variety of internal teams including Corporate Security.
5. Partner with the signature security integrator for any maintenance, repair, or installation of physical security hardware and associated systems.
6. Support system integrations and upgrades.
7. Track all security invoicing to ensure completion of work, and follow-up on payments rendered.
8. Assist with a variety of day-to-day operational needs;
   
   
   • Issue badges to support new employee orientation.
   • Provide event security assistance, as needed.
9. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in information technology, preferred. At least two years of physical security program experience. Access control platform experience with BRIVO and CCURE, preferred.
