The Financial Advisor position can be located within the Central Indiana region (Indianapolis area to Columbus) or the Southern Indiana (Seymour, Indiana and South) region.

The Financial Advisor is responsible for selling, educating, and counseling of investment and insurance products and services to Centra Credit Union Members and non-Members.  This position contributes to a positive client experience, gross dealer concession, an increase in assets under management and new clients being served.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Drives sales production via face-to-face or virtual meetings, phone calls, emails, and strategic marketing campaigns.  Talks to prospective clients and conducts client reviews to determine their expenses, income, insurance coverage, financial objectives, tax status, risk tolerance, or other information needed to develop or maintain a financial plan that is in their best interest.


• Delivers training and development to Centra Team Member to generate qualified referrals that lead to investment and insurance sales.


• Cultivates strong working relationships with Centra Team Members, Members, and in the Communities we serve.


• Maintains knowledge for compliance with all rules and regulations in the financial and insurance industry

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED):

• Bachelor's Degree in Related Field


• A minimum of one year up to three years of related experience, including preparatory experience

• Certified Financial Planner Designation - Preferred
