Our Role:

As part of the PPC Information Technology & Services team, we support PGIM Private Capital with both vendor and internally designed applications, processes, and reporting.  We are looking for an astute, determined professional like you to fulfill a System Administrator / Senior Product Specialist role on the team.  You will showcase your success through collaboration, ownership, and innovation. The team is looking for a candidate to join a diverse team dedicated to providing best in class data services to our customers, stakeholders and partners.  The incumbent will look to define solutions for operationalizing data-driven decision making in a cost effective and scalable manner.  This rewarding opportunity will enable you to have an impact in our organization, so if this sounds exciting, then PGIM Private Capital might be the place for you.

Your Impact:


  • Create/support key business processes, related dashboards, and interactive reports via Allvue Everest

  • Create generic API’s to allow data flows from Allvue Everest to/from internal databases

  • Utilize knowledge of the Everest platform to determine and implement best-fit and maintainable solutions for internal business partners

  • Designing, building and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable architecture and code

  • Participate in the architecture and system design discussions

  • Work in a team environment with product, frontend design, production operation, QE/QA and cross functional teams to deliver a project throughout the whole software development cycle

  • Participate in code review to make sure standards and best practices are met

  • Exhibit strategic thinking capabilities, strong execution, and accountability for outcomes

  • Create collaborative working relationships with colleagues quickly, is an active listener; is skilled in crucial conversations, demonstrates courage and curiosity – is not afraid to fail 

  • Gain familiarity with all aspects of PPC’s business model to effectively integrate new system applications and/or improve existing business processes

  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as travel may occasionally be required

Your Required Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent combination of education and 6+ years of experience as System Administrator / Data developer

  • Strong, hands-on experience working with the Allvue Everest platform, including custom development as well as built-in system configuration options

  • Strong programming experience with .Net and Microsoft SQL Server

  • Experience in system analysis, design, development, and implementation of data ingestion pipeline in AWS and knowledge of ETL/ELT

  • Ability to communicate technical information in a clear and tactful manner

  • Ambition to learn and utilize emerging technologies while working in a stimulating team environment

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required


  • Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities

  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis

  • Comfortable voicing opinions and making recommendations for process improvements

The salary range for this role is from $110,000 to $160,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.

Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.

Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement
