Production Scheduler

YOUR ROLE


  • Knowledge of computerized manufacturing and planning systems SAP.
  • Creates and maintains the Master Production Schedule based on planning requirements and internal capacity constraints.
  • Maintains build to order and build to schedule items as appropriate for each item. Responsible to maintaining WIP inventory to minimum
  • Accurately maintains planning system input parameters such as lead-times, work center queues, lot sizes and other parameters that affect the quality and execution of the shop floor schedules.
  • Works with Materials Management in managing phase in/out of components in order to minimize inventory exposure.
  • Analyze ongoing production plan against capacity and material delivery. Liaise with Demand Planning,
  • Purchasing, and Customer Service to ensure end to end transparency and alignment.
  • Ability to prepare clear and concise records, reports, correspondence and other written materials using MS Office, and Excel.
  • Supports other Production Schedulers as needed.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Specification of the necessary graduation and vocational training considering recent educational requirements which are needed to fulfil the above-mentioned tasks of the position.
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • High degree of proficiency with Excel, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the company
  • Comprehends the minimum of work experience which has to be fulfilled by the incumbent according to necessary knowledge mentioned above.
  • Sitting, standing and limited lifting. Primarily in office/manufacturing environment.
  • The performance of this position normally requires exposure to typical manufacturing areas where under certain conditions the use of personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, and hygienic precautions, such as hairnets, are required.
  • While in the plant, the work environment is not climate controlled.
  • Noise level in the work environment are moderately loud.
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • Overtime may be required.
