PLANNER/SCHEDULER Linxon Raleigh office is looking for a Senior Site Planner/Scheduler to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Developing resource loaded overall master schedule and project detailed schedules aligned with milestones fixed by Customer and/or management expectation on deliveries.
Ensuring the detailed schedules developed by subcontractors, as per their scope of work, are consistent with the project master schedule.
Maintaining liaison with project team regarding scheduling activities and assisting them in determining schedule priorities.
Attending project team and subcontractors’ meetings., developing schedule variation reports from baseline and providing technical guidance to co-workers.
Exercising independent judgment in planning, scheduling, organizing, controlling and monitoring the work team.
Assisting Project team in producing project control reports including variation reports regarding time and budget, critical path analysis, S-curve and progress reporting
Monitoring work in progress to ensure that work is executed in compliance with the requirements of the contract and schedule
Participating in the Change Order Management process
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Site Planner/Scheduler on construction projects.
Working experience in an engineering/construction (EPC) environment.
Proactive detailed oriented and have a good knowledge of planning techniques.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships with client, subcontractors, and staff at all levels.
Proficient with computer software, including Primavera P6 and PM+.
Associate degree or minimum of two years post high school training/experience. Bachelor’s degree in business management or related discipline preferred.
Highly motivated and adaptable to a time-sensitive environment to respond quickly and effectively to unanticipated high workloads, events and emergencies
