The Long-Term Care RN Director will join a hospital whose mission is to make patients feel cared for and provide exceptional healthcare to everyone in the community. The Long-Term Care RN Director will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and will have oversight over all nursing services related to Long Term care. As the Director of the Skilled Nursing Facility, this individual will manage the entire nursing process including planning, evaluation and implementation of nursing practices. Ideally, this experienced Long-Term Care RN Director will have a background in Long Term Acute Care in the areas of Home Health, Hospice Care, Rehab and Assisted Living.

The Long-Term Care RN Director will manage a team over the skilled nursing facility and is responsible for the clinical and administrative functions of the facility. The Long-Term Care RN Director will assist with coordinating the programs offered at the facility including the recreational programs, intergenerational program, life enrichment program, and therapeutic activity programs, ensure state and federal regulatory compliance, update policy and procedures, develop quality performance improvement initiatives, monitor budgets, and prepare accreditation and survey material. With a team-oriented approach, the Director of Nursing will support their team through open communication, continuous educational programs for new hires and current staff, and ensure quality care is consistently delivered throughout the facility.
