Pole Reviewer at TOTH AND ASSOCIATES INC in Springfield, Missouri

Job Description:

Toth & Associates has an immediate opening for a Pole Reviewer for electric utility operations. This job description is general in nature and is not an exclusive list of all job duties. Employee may be assigned other duties as directed by Supervisor or Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safe use, maintenance and operation of equipment (trucks, power tools, survey equipment, GPS equipment, materials, etc.)


• GPS inventory all material and equipment for every pole on electric systems


• Inspect electric system poles for strength and integrity


• Accurately complete required paperwork (time reports, etc.)


• Promptly attend to client needs and concerns


• Drive, operate and maintain assigned equipment in an efficient and economical manner


• Provide quality customer service


• Ensure proper work site cleanup


• Use protective equipment


• Perform all other duties as required

• Electric or communications experience


• Valid drivers license


• Clean driving record


• Experience in working outdoors


• Understanding of all components attached to utility poles


• Accurate attention to detail


• Basic computer skills


• Ability to walk up to 10 miles per day through rough terrain


• Ability to read and follow paper maps


• Ability to travel in and out of home state on a weekly basis


• A work ethic that provides the ability to work independently


• Ability to work overtime on occasion


• Ability to carry 30lbs of equipment to each pole
