The Federal Reserve Bank is looking for a motivated, talented and innovative Sr. Product Manager who is passionate about driving emerging technology throughout the FRB with the SF-ITS Advanced Data Analytics team. This group is part of the Information Technology Services (ITS) department of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco (FRBSF).

We are recruiting a Sr Product Manager to help lead the design, launch, and scaling of SF-ITS Advanced Data Analytics applications/platforms. You are a self-motivated, analytical, excellent communicator that leverages superior organizational awareness and collaborative influence to drive value across the suite of SF-ITS Advanced Data Analytics. You will be a Sr Product Manager working cross-functionally with Architects, Engineers, Business Analysts, and Service Managers, Communications team and beyond across multiple teams in a rapidly evolving.

To be successful in this role, you must be an organized, self-starter with stellar leadership and communication skills, who can work independently building relationships and driving customer engagement while championing change and continuous improvement across the portfolio suite. This position requires the candidate to excel in uncertainty in a dynamic environment where change is the norm and has a proven track record in maintaining strong relationships with our customers, partners, teammates and executive stakeholders.

Key Areas of Responsibility:


  • Responsible for strategic product development, cross-functional communication, client engagement and critical stakeholder management across ITS

  • Lead emerging product management research, strategic positioning to meet evolving business needs, map product requirements and feature roadmaps and coordinate detailed planning to evolve the product management suite

  • Utilize your experience in change management and industry best practices to help SF-ITS Advanced Data Analytics products evolve in the upcoming hybrid operational ecosystem

  • Identifies key opportunities for business process improvement, as well as development of technical or process enhancements to increase operational efficiencies, or reduce costs across the FRB

  • Liaise with partners and consulting organizations, managing the engagement, to support specific bodies of work critical to ITS

  • Plans, leads, organizes, and motivates multiple large, complex enterprise-level projects consisting of multiple teams and/ or requiring integration with other activities outside of the project team’s scope

  • Works across districts and organizations interacts with all levels of management and staff

  • Understand the cloud ecosystem, markets, competition, and user requirements in depth

  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Marketing, Legal, UX, and other cross-functional teams

  • Builds professional relationships with executives to gather and articulate the technical vision, and to produce the strategic plan for realizing it

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Communications, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience

  • 7+ years of overall experience developing, implementing and managing IT projects

  • Proven ability to develop technical and business solutions from concept to finish driving business value with end to end coordination

  • Demonstrated communication and change management experience across a large enterprise

  • Ability to coordinate and work with diverse groups of subject matter experts

  • Self-starter, with a personal standard high bar of performance excellence

  • Understanding of Product Management best practices and proven track record in working with cross-functional, no dedicated teams

  • Ability to develop communication strategies and executive artifacts, product strategies and roadmaps, and deliver complex material to tailored audiences

  • Proven ability to work effectively independently or in a team environment

  • Strong analytical, collaboration, leadership, critical thinking, multitasking, and time management skills

  • Ability to influence successfully in a highly matrix or virtual organization

  • Demonstrates independent thinking and decision-making abilities

  • Some travel may be required

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Green Card holder with the intent to become a U.S. Citizen
