Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

Oversee and perform maintenance in support of day-to-day operations and maintain the physical assets of the property.

• Perform technical maintenance jobs as required.


• Maintain all machinery and equipment under the direction of the Maintenance Manager and in accordance with applicable federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations.


• Ensure all preventive, predictive and other maintenance systems are adhered to and properly performed for all machinery, equipment and buildings.


• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.


• Train and assist Maintenance Technicians and other more junior maintenance staff.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Relevant Work Experience

• At least 3 years of experience repairing any (3) or more of the following heavy machinery: stamping presses, brake presses, laser cutters, robotic welders, overhead cranes, and hi-los, as well as experience facilitating PM programs, implementing safety initiatives, and educating operators on machine maintenance and safety.

Additional

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.


• Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.


• Installing and troubleshooting various systems skills.


• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.


• Knowledge of all MIOSHA and OSHA standards.


• Must be able to occasionally lift 75 pounds.


• Must be able to work at heights.

Preferred Qualifications

Education

• Associate's degree in a related technical area.
