Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements.Join the Shipping & Receiving team at the Fombell, PA site, where you will play a key role in the Supply Chain, ensuring that customer orders are filled in a safe and timely manner. You will apply your knowledge and experience to drive continuous improvements in the area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in team meetings/ tier meetings
Assist in planning, packaging, staging, scheduling, inspecting, and processing daily shipments to internal and external customers
Coordinate and communicate with manufacturing departments, Lab, and Supply Chain
Learn and follow shipping safety regulations
Perform timely Receiving of shipments
Distribute incoming packages and materials
Learn or support new processes/procedures as needed
Good oral and written communication skills
Strong work ethic and initiative to learn processes
Team-oriented attitude and continuous improvement mindset
Attention to detail when handling paperwork and parts
YOU MUST HAVE
High School Diploma or GED
1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
WE VALUE
Experience with fork truck
Some experience in stock and material handling
Computer literacy
Experience with SAP
