Job Description:


Job Summary:




THIS HYBRID ROLE
-
2 DAYS PER WEEK IN OFFICE, 3 DAYS PER WEEK REMOTE - WILL BE
BASED OUT OF OUR MIAMI OFFICE.



This position is responsible for processing Accounts Payable and Customer Billing transactions. The position collaborates with Sales, CXP's, and Finance to ensure timely and accurate processing.




Responsibilities:



  • Accurately create, process, collect, and/or post transactions or other designated functions in a timely manner with minimal direction

  • Create, process, and review customer billing invoices

    • Process customer billing and shipped vs billed reports

    • Review invoices for accuracy and ensure timely billing of invoices to customers



  • Process customer credit requests related to pricing adjustments and quality claims

  • Process customer rebate credits and collaborate with the Finance team on any reconciliation issues

  • Review exception reporting and ensure issues are resolved within a timely manner

    • Collaborate with CXP's to resolve invoice exceptions



  • Maintain an accurate record of customer accounts and outstanding balances

  • Provide regular, accurate reports of billing data

  • Assist customers and business partners with billing questions

  • Provide copies of invoice and proof of delivery as requested by the customer

  • Independently investigates billing issues and processes invoice adjustments to ensure invoice correctness

  • Ensures that billing, procedures, and guidelines are accurate, accessible, and communicated to staff

  • Proactively identifies, communicates, quantifies, and monitors account detail or workflow processes for barriers in the work environment

  • Other Duties as assigned

Education: Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, or finance. Or equivalent experience preferred




Experience: 4+ years of billing experience preferred
