Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

• The Clinical Video Producer's responsibilities are Production and Post-Production of ISI's clinical content. The role of the job can expand to documentary, testimonial, animation production, but the core of its focus is clinical/surgical.


• Working in collaboration with the Manager of Video and the Senior Video Editor/Producer, the Clinical Video Producer will participate in planning, shooting, producing, and post-production of clinical and product videos.


• The role also may require some travel/production at various hospital Operating Rooms throughout the country where internal and external surgical captures take place. About 15% of the job may entail travel.


• The role is 30% production, 55% editing, and 15% researching, purchasing and maintaining the department's clinical production equipment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of clinical captures, including client interaction, working with surgeons, onsite capture, and developing expertise with Intuitive's medical systems and devices.


• Expertise in most Adobe video applications, especially in Adobe Premiere.


• Perform final encoding of finished projects.


• Using a shared team structure, establish, supervise, and maintain clinical video library and archives.


• Remain current with industry best practices for producing, capturing, editing, delivering, storing and displaying video assets.
