Allegheny College, an innovative national liberal arts college, invites applications for the position of Director of Enrollment Operations and Communications. The position leads a dynamic and creative team and reports to the Vice President for Enrollment Management.


The Director of Enrollment Operations and Communications will provide strategic leadership and serve as a key member of the Enrollment Management Division leadership team. They will provide oversight in collaboration with the Vice President for operational processes and efficiencies, data analysis, admission, financial aid, and enrollment communications, and staff management and development. The Director is part of a collaborative and innovative team who focus on student success through a lens of equity and inclusion and has a passion for the liberal arts. The Director will report to the Vice President and lead a dedicated staff. The position is full-time exempt position and can be either campus-based or remote.



The Director will:


    Manage day-to-day operations of the enrollment operations area and lead a 4-member team, providing professional development and growth opportunities.Serve as the institution's Slate CRM lead. Provide ongoing professional development and training to enrollment management staff and campus partners in Slate.Develop and oversee execution of enrollment operations (admission, financial aid, and marketing and communications) processes and procedures.Oversee the development and execution of the enrollment communications plans, including analysis of tactics.Collaborate with Marketing & Communications and the Vice President to develop enrollment marketing strategies and ensure brand complianceServe on campus-wide committees including, but not limited to, data governance, strategic enrollment management, and cross-functional project team.Collaborate with campus partners including faculty, diversity, equity & inclusion, finance, student affairs, and athleticsRepresent the Vice President and Enrollment Division as neededOther duties as assigned


Minimum qualifications:


    Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred7+ years in enrollment management or related fieldPrevious experience in Slate CRMPrevious staff leadership experienceCommitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and being student-centered Prior experience at a private liberal arts institution preferred


Preferred qualifications and experiences:


    Understanding of current best practices in student recruitmentData analysis and modeling experiencePrevious experience with Ellucian ColleagueKnowledge of financial aid leveraging strategiesAbility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
