Job Description:

The Quality Floor Auditor supports the company as a quality resource via auditing in an exemplary manner according to the Company Quality policy.
Qualified candidates will possess the following Minimum Requirements:
A High School Diploma or GED with nine months experience inspecting automotive parts Proficiency in the following areas: SPC charting, FMEAs, blueprint reading, control plans, the use of micrometers, calipers, height gages, and fixtures preferred Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations Ability to operate the CMM Have mechanical inclination, computer literacy, and general math knowledge through standardized tests Willing to attend off-site, job-related training Willing to both train and work on any shift Have an excellent work record, including attendance

The Primary Activities of the Quality Floor Auditor include:
Audits/Processes/Operations:
Assist operators in the use of Control Plans, Gages, and part prints when needed Perform line side audits verifying QA documentation for EC level, gages for EC level and certification, production inspection checks, and all items on the line side layered audit checklist Verify first piece approval decisions and quality related production decisions during general audits contacting the Quality Engineer as required for questions of part quality verification Document audit findings on appropriate forms and reports, file as required Audit outgoing product to suppliers according to procedures and instructions Support containment and tag procedure for nonconforming product and assist in the material review Operate CMM programs for part measurements and assist operators with floor CMM checks Perform minor Fixture Gage repairs and assist with the fixture calibration function
Organization/Communication/Professionalism:
Support the Quality Engineer with special projects as required Support organization quality and environmental policies and procedures Identify potential safety issues with processes and systems, and take appropriate action Effectively communicate with co-workers and management personnel to enhance teamwork and communication initiatives. Provide necessary, accurate, and timely feedback of all pertinent information to co-workers and management. Consistently exhibit appropriate attendance habits, working the hours necessary to perform the job. Organize and maintain efficiency of personal work area. Consistently adhere to, and support, company policies and procedures, including ISO, TS16949, and safety regulations. Accept instructions and duties in a positive manner. Treat all co-workers with dignity and respect. Assist in maintaining P&C values (Integrity, People, Customers, Ownership, We Can If, Safety) daily, through thoughts and actions.
