JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible foraccounting practices, financial controls/budgets, cost, and general accountingfor the Plant.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyzeand investigate complex information reported in the internal financialstatements and other periodic financial reports for a manufacturinglocation.


• Analyzefinancial results, trends and metrics on a monthly basis.


• Posta specified list of journal entries at month end. Review the internal FinancialStatements for errors before they are published.


• Reviewexpenses and operating statements including COGS (Cost of Goods Sold), productand overhead costs.


• Researchand recommend options and solutions for improved business results to seniormanagement.


• Providefinancial decision support the manufacturing location leaders.


• Collaboratewith product divisions and front line manufacturing staff to drive improvedprofitability.


• Conductquarterly/monthly financial business reviews with manufacturing locationleaders.


• Reviewmanufacturing processes, cost of materials, capex spend, and location costs.


• Conductand document complex financial analysis projects.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.

• At least 3 years of financial planning, reporting and/or analysis experience.


• At least 1 year experience in cost accounting.


• Experience leading profit improvement initiatives.

• Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel and other ERP financial systems.


• Position requires travel for business purposes (within state and out of state).

• MBA.


• Project Management experience.
