Responsible foraccounting practices, financial controls/budgets, cost, and general accountingfor the Plant.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyzeand investigate complex information reported in the internal financialstatements and other periodic financial reports for a manufacturinglocation.
Analyzefinancial results, trends and metrics on a monthly basis.
Posta specified list of journal entries at month end. Review the internal FinancialStatements for errors before they are published.
Reviewexpenses and operating statements including COGS (Cost of Goods Sold), productand overhead costs.
Researchand recommend options and solutions for improved business results to seniormanagement.
Providefinancial decision support the manufacturing location leaders.
Collaboratewith product divisions and front line manufacturing staff to drive improvedprofitability.
Conductquarterly/monthly financial business reviews with manufacturing locationleaders.
Reviewmanufacturing processes, cost of materials, capex spend, and location costs.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
Relevant Work Experience
At least 3 years of financial planning, reporting and/or analysis experience.
At least 1 year experience in cost accounting.
Experience leading profit improvement initiatives.
Additional
Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel and other ERP financial systems.
Position requires travel for business purposes (within state and out of state).
