feature sets. The Senior DevOps Engineer will use their technology skills and experiences to be an expert
in their field, collaborate across the organization designing user capabilities. As a Senior DevOps
Engineer, you will have an influence on our tech stack and the tools we choose to
use. You will oversee junior software developers and ensure the seamless deployment of
software. This person must have the ability to quickly learn, implement new technologies, and drive
growth as we evolve the platform
What You Will Be Doing " Work on ongoing improvements of our AWS cloud infrastructure
" Make key decisions for scalability, reliability and accessibility
" Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
" Work closely with developers for prototyping, and designing new features as part of the
infrastructure
" Continue to stay up to date on the latest DevOps Technologies and AWS product updates
" Independently analyzing, proposing and developing solutions for technical problems and issues.
" Exhibit your natural leadership skills by communicating closely and effectively with engineering
management, leads, and peers to gather and understand requirements, share project status and
deal with unexpected issues.
" Assisting with project management tasks
" Working independently, but also collaboratively in a team focused environment
" Being curious, asking questions, providing solutions and offering opinions
What You Need for this Position 5+ years provisioning, operating, and managing AWS environments
" Understanding of managed AWS services
" Experience with containers Docker, ECS or Kubernetes
" Experience with monitoring and logging tools
" Strong ability to solve problems using code and scripting
" You are adaptable to change and working in a fast paced environment
" Ability to communicate complex issues effectively and in a timely manner to all levels of the
organization
" Ability to project timelines, execute for a given task, and articulate and follow the software
development life cycle (SDLC)
" Ability to lead development, manage tasks and monitor progress of new features
" Drive to learn and grow and ability to be a mentor
