Position Purpose:


To schedule, coordinate, and manage reservations for all Collis facilities (Collis Center, Robinson Hall, Sarner Underground, Paganucci Lounge, and Tom Dent Cabin), and assist with day-to-day administration of Collis managed facilities.


Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp:

High School plus 3+ years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience


Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

* High school degree
* Four years of relevant office experience.
* In-depth knowledge of office and business procedures.
* Proficient with standard computer applications.
* Ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently.
* Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks in a timely fashion despite interruptions and competing demands.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.



Preferred Qualifications:

* Associates degree
* Experience with student development or student activities helpful.

Scheduling 40%· Schedules and coordinates reservations for Collis Center events and activities using scheduling software.· Coordinates and leads the Collis events meeting.· Identifies customer needs, securing the best use of space, entering data, and confirming reservations.· Monitors the Collis Reservations email account.· Applies and maintains a knowledge of Collis Center and College policies and guidelines.· Coordinates and schedules Collis Center maintenance with FO&M staff.

Supervision 30%· Supervises a student staff of 15-20 students.· Monitors student payroll for Collis student employees.· Coordinates student employee training for Collis student employees.

Administrative 15%· Coordinates Collis Center operations meetings with campus partners.· Manages the Collis Information Desk.· Responds to requests for information by the campus and community via telephone and e-mail.· Orders and tracks supplies for the Collis Center.

Facilities Management 15%· Communicates with campus facilities, campus dining, and other campus partners related to student center operations.· Maintains current information regarding the programs and services offered by the Collis Center.· Manages and tracks maintenance for Collis Center facilities.
