NA Tax Director (Mid - Senior Level) at ERM Europe Limited in Houston, Texas

Job Description:

ERM is looking for a Tax Director for North America. Reporting directly to the head of tax in the UK this role will support tax planning, research, acquisition structuring, due diligence processes, special projects for the US and Canada.

This position focuses on identifying, evaluating, and implementing opportunities to minimize the group’s US and Canadian tax burden. This is a key role in the management of the tax function in tax planning projects including BEAT tax planning, transfer pricing, NA acquisitions, NA restructurings, support of global tax positions, and supporting other regional tax directors.

The US tax compliance manager reports into the RTD and this role requires detailed oversight and review of all US tax compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bachelors or master’s degree in finance, Accounting or a related discipline. CPA/MBA preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors or master’s degree in finance, Accounting or a related discipline. CPA/MBA preferred.


• Five plus years of work experience including deal experience.


• Technical knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS and their application to M&A transactions.


• Proven strong problem solving and business acumen skills.
