Arcosa Construction Products Group is searching for an HR Intern located in our Arlington, Texas office. In this role you will support a positive safety culture by directing the activities and staff within a manufacturing and mining environment that is regulated by MSHA and OSHA safety standards.
As a HR Intern, you will perform various HR administrative tasks under the direction of the Construction Products Group Human Resources Director. You will gain hands on exposure to the inner workings of an HR department.
Arcosa Construction Products Group contains multiple business units that support three product segments in the Aggregates, Specialty Materials and Stabilized and Recycled Materials.
What you'll do:
Assist the HR team with most functions of human resources including, but not limited to, records retention, recruiting and onboarding.
Complete HR Hourly Job Code project for two job codes
Research employment law for guidance
What you'll need:
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite software.
Must have strong organizational skills and efficient work habits
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Must have good interpersonal skills.
Must be able to operate in a highly professional and confidential manner
Must be detail oriented
Must be able to work with operations leaders, employees, and fellow HR team members to complete project and tasks
Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
