Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)- Full Time (FT) - Weekends at October Road Inc. in GASTONIA, North Carolina

Job Description:

For this position we are looking for  Nurse's that are able to work Full Time overnights. Our overnight shift is 7pm-7am. Our Full Time nurses work 3, 12 hour shifts a week. Our current pay range for Overnight Nurses is $23-$30 USD an hour, based off of education and professional experience. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete initial Nursing Assessment with new admissions


• Medication administration


• Knowledge and delivery of detox protocols


• Complete COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients per protocol


• Provide medication education to clients


• Coordinate and support Medical providers with initial assessments and medication management appointment

Licensure, Education, & Experience:

• Current LPN license in state of practice.


• Current CPR, AED and First Aid


• 1 year of acute care or outpatient care experience

Preferred:

• One year of experience in a behavioral health treatment setting.


• Background in Substance Use Treatment and Co-occurring Disorders.
