Position Summary

He/she will be responsible for sourcing excellence and standardization across locations. This individual will support strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives throughout the organization to help OneProcurement execute business strategy, achieve strategic sourcing goals, and improve process and operational performance. This position requires excellent internal customer service abilities as the Sourcing Excellence Analyst will be required to interface both within and outside of the Sourcing organization at all levels of management within the Company. The Sourcing Excellence Analyst must have the ability to track and analyze a variety of commodities and reporting financial ramifications market inflections have on corporation’s strategy. This individual will support the team in data analysis, model building, process analysis communication and supplier/contract management. Strategic planning and thinking skills, coupled with analytical and execution skills are critical to the position.
Responsibilities
Sourcing Excellence
Partners with Procurement leaders for effective implementation of sourcing activities, RFx, or supplier research
Develop, document, and deploy standard processes, based upon best practices to ensure proper function and results within Sourcing
This individual will support the team in data analysis, model building, process analysis communication and supplier/contract management
Conduct market research and analyze relevant data (benchmarking, spend, contracts) to support execution of supplier/sourcing strategies
Provides analytical data and information to support procurement initiatives
Participate in the deployment of Procurement software implementations and oversee the administration of current software solutions, including e-sourcing, spend reporting, contract management, supplier scorecarding.
Sourcing insights generation from spend, supplier, and market intelligence
Support procurement spend reporting process to provide timely and accurate data for identification of cost optimization opportunities, working with procurement category teams on integrity of spend categorization
Support Delivery of category insights for strategic sourcing opportunities worth pursuing through benchmarking, market and supplier research, and macroeconomic analysis
Consolidate and summarize market insights from category intelligence sources, gather forecast information (where applicable), and cascade information to relevant stakeholders on a regular basis
Support the team in data analysis, model building, process analysis communication and supplier/contract management
Supplier Scorecarding
Support efforts in centralization of supplier scorecarding across OneProcurement
Work with sourcing, quality, and operations to refine and automate supplier scoring metrics
Participate in the deployment of Procurement software implementations and contribute to review and pilot sessions of current software solutions, including e-sourcing, spend reporting, contract management, supplier scorecarding.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
2-3 years’ experience in Procurement Sourcing
Ability to manage multiple priorities and resources in a dynamic environment across various businesses, and organize complex information
Strong process analysis and documentation skills required
Strategic and analytical thinker, with the ability to look into the details and interpret the impact of key business drivers.
Enjoys influencing and driving meaningful changes without authority
Team player attitude
Experience with BI Dashboard tools, including Tableau, Power BI
Experience with Spend Visibility platforms such as Ariba Spend Visibility, Zycus, Spend HQ, Coupa or other similar systems
