This position involves development and oversight of the beverage programs across all Thompson restaurants which include matchbox, American Tap Room, Maker's Union, Milk & Honey, Wiseguy Pizza, The Ridley, Hen Quarter and many more. Beverage Management
Cultivate an environment of beverage culture, passion, and expertise
Develop and deliver brand identity through exciting beverage programs
Lead onsite program rollouts and new restaurant openings - ability to work from DC area restaurants 50% of time and travel as needed
Develop captivating beverage training programs
Collaborate closely with Director of Beverage as well as Operations and Marketing teams to coordinate enterprise programming and strategy
Lead beverage operational excellence including management of:
Program implementation
Beverage cost of goods sold
Beverage inventory management
Beverage service standards
Beverage category sales and performance
Drive increased non-alcoholic beverage sales
Experience working with beverage suppliers and distributors
Develop and support local and enterprise level activations and events
Work with local and national beverage partners to manage product supply chain, reduce costs and alleviate product outages
Assist with beverage content, menu, and collateral creation
Generate, manage, and communicate beverage performance reports
