Job Description:

The Team

We are seeking an Associate Program Manager to join American Tower’s U.S. Tower division’s Property Owner Support Services team.  The team administers millions of dollars of monthly recurring rent and revenue share expenses and provides high quality customer service by fielding and resolving inquiries from property owners.  The team also performs financial reconciliations and lease audits for the division’s assets to ensure the integrity of expense lease data that supports accounting processes and financial results.  Day to day you will identify and evaluate process risk areas and determine innovative ways to fill gaps through technology and process improvements.  As Associate Program Manager you will partner cross-functionally with various teams to implement solutions by maximizing efficiency, driving operational success, and enhancing property owners’ satisfaction.

  • Facilitate collaborative, cross-functional project team participation to effectively initiate, plan, execute, and monitor all phases of projects to ensure work efforts are executed on time, within budget, and according to stated requirements.

  • Identify new and innovative ways to drive automation through technology and process improvements.

  • Determine strategies to proactively assess and mitigate risks.

  • Conduct up-front analyses to map relative touch points related to owners’ experiences and identify gaps.

  • Develop and maintain a process roadmap addressing inconsistencies, inefficiencies, best practices, and emerging trends.

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field required.

  • At least 5 years of project management experience in a related field required.

  • Project Management Institute certification strongly preferred.

  • Ability to analyze all aspects of programs and develop sound recommendations for improvements.

  • Ability to navigate and negotiate complex business processes with stakeholders and process owners.

  • Oracle financial applications and Salesforce knowledge preferred.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.

  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Approximately 10% travel may be required to support the position’s responsibilities.
