Job Summary

Zimmer Biomet Connected Health is building digital health tools to improve the care experience for patients, surgeons, and clinicians in musculoskeletal health. We are looking for a motivated & energetic product development professional who is passionate about software and has a particular interest in AI technologies. They will be responsible for managing functional requirements for existing products and helping envision new products for the musculoskeletal market. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering solutions for real-world, large-scale problems using Artificial Intelligence techniques that incorporate Data Science, Machine Learning and statistical techniques.

**Due to our AI Team being located in the UK, this candidate must reside in either central or eastern time zone.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for evaluating the technical requirements when crafting the user journey through user stories and acceptance criteria. The candidate can clearly articulate the link between product decisions and business outcomes.

• Develop, drive and support a pipeline of AI solutions that deliver against the strategic business priorities

• Maintain an exceptional level of customer focus centered on integrity and transparency.

• Make things happen without frequent management direction and know when to communicate status or escalate issues to their leaders, teammates or stakeholders.

• Work with the Product Manager to set product vision and road-maps, goal setting, story writing, prioritizing, project execution, and product roll-out strategy

• Drive and support all phases of the product management lifecycle: design, delivery, and post launch management

• Partner with cross-functional teams of designers, technologists, business stakeholders, and other stakeholders

• Own and drive agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint demos, testing and releases

• Collaborate with data science team to develop common understanding of requirements, solutions and their implications.

• Must have demonstrable strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands and viewpoints. Using these skills, the candidate will help create a balance between project scope, timeframe, and resources.

• Attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Flexibility with short term priorities while keeping project scope and timeline in mind. Relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

• Builds a culture of accountability and ownership to make decisions as close to the work as possible.

• Manage dependencies while identifying, building, and managing strategic partnership with cross functional

Education/Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or s or business

• Product Owner, Agile/SCRUM, or SAFe Certification or generalist

• 2+ years of Artificial Intelligence Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience in complex technologies in software and/or healthcare solutions.

• 7+ years of experience in building software in collaboration with development teams, and creating user needs and architecture/software requirements preferably in the medical device industry.

• Skilled in Agile/SCRUM, SAFe methodologies and experience in leading complex projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies aligned with a quality management system; preferred.

•Experience with at least one requirements management tool such as Atlassian Jira or Code Beamer.
