What Will Your Job Look Like?

 The Senior Manager, Health Care Operations works in collaboration with our Operations, MTM support departments, and network partners to ensure the most appropriate and cost-effective delivery of support services to health plan members and private pay consumers. The Senior Manager, Health Care Operations will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure MTM delivers exceptional service while meeting the financial objectives of the organization. 

Alternate programs, including our HCBS, Wanda, CCP and others will be managed by this position. 

The Senior Manager, Health Care Operations will recruit, credential and contract with providers of specialized services and connect the members with a fully credentialed provider.

The Senior Manager, Health Care Operations is a remote, work from home position.

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for daily guidance, development and performance of all direct reports


• Drive change and positive community outcomes


• Oversee and lead the development of effective networks of support partners and subcontractors to effectively deliver service


• Lead assigned staff and provide leadership to cross-functional partners supporting the operation


• Manage client relationships including Quarterly Business Reviews, regular scheduled meetings, reporting, and escalations


• Partner with Technology and Marketing Product teams to ensure operating platform automates and streamlines the ordering, delivery and reporting functions for all internal and external stakeholders


• P&L accountability for Operations and Product performance


• Ensure business outcomes and client contract goals are defined and met


• Act as a subject matter expert regarding the contracts within assigned region


• Ensure encounter submissions and client reports are submitted timely and accurately, if appropriate


• Ensure the effective monitoring of network partner and subcontractor performance within assigned Operations


• Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the cost of service delivery is within the budget


• Manage and oversee all operational aspects of contracted services, within assigned region


• Provide support for organization initiatives in the assigned region


• Participate in planning, revisions, implementation and execution of updated amendments and/or regulations


• Ensure local network management teams are evaluating performance of network partners and subcontractors and holding them accountable for a variety of metrics, including, but not limited to cost and customer service satisfaction


• Provide contract and MTM policy interpretation and assistance

What You’ll need:

• College degree


• 8+ years of previous experience in network management and/or care management fields


• Experience managing complex contracts with SLA’s


• Experience managing a large team of both direct and indirect reports


• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Account Manager or relevant related experience, preferred


• Experience contracting and negotiations

Even better if you have...

• Masters degree preferred


• Experience with Lean processes and/or Six Sigma Certification preferred


• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Account Manager or relevant related experience, preferred


• Experience with routing and dispatch applications is preferred


• Strong business and financial acumen


• Knowledge of managed care, quality improvement, contracting


• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills


• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills


• Analytical in using data to drive service and cost improvement

Salary Range:

Salary Min: 85,000

Salary Max: 96,000
