Job Description:
Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 60+ labs throughout the country. Our team is growing, and we are hiring a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX-DSG Dresch Dental Lab in Sylvania, Ohio for a Dental Lab Technician I (Dentures). Previous experience is not necessary; we offer paid, hands-on training!
The regular hours for this position are from 8:00AM to 5=4:30PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
- Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
- Bead and Pour impressions
- Base models
- Trim models
- Set bites
- Articulate models
- Make duplicate models
- Review final work and check completely that all quality standards have been met before passing the work to the next technician.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Strong ability to read, listen, comprehend, retain and execute on written and verbal instructions
- High level of organizational skill with the ability to prioritize work
- Ability to effectively communicate with all team members during the buyer-seller transactions as well as communicating to members of the technical support team, members of management, and the training team
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve using past experience and successes to gauge best steps for future cases
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- No experience required

- Sharp instruments, knives and blades
- Motorized Lathe
- Dental Handpiece
- Butane Torch
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach
- Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions

- Ability to walk, sit and stand for long periods of time
- Repeated bending and kneeling
- Vision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail and/or color
- Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 50 pounds
