As a key member of the Information Security Risk Assessment (ISRA)team, you will interact with management from various departments and business functions. You will be responsible to perform end-to-end Information Security Risk Assessments independently, evaluating security controls of critical Western Union applications, networks, and cloud platform as per well-known Industry-standard and framework such as ISO 27001, NIST, etc.



You will assist teams with devising remediation plans by prioritizing all findings on a risk-based approach, identify threats, assess residual risk, and document gaps to Policies and Standards. You will manage strategies and best practices to provide information security assurance across the enterprise. You will demonstrate a solid understanding of the IT environment and its impact on business risk.



ISRA is part of the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team who ensures the rest of the company is applying security correctly.




For a critical role like this, you have 4-5 years of combined experience in Cloud Engineering; IT/Network Engineering; or Application Development as well as experience within the information security risk assessment area. You should have experience in demonstrating knowledge of a broad range of Risk Assessment / Management Concepts like: Auditing Methodologies and Approaches, Information Security Policies, Standards and Procedures, PCI Standards, ISO 2700x Standards, NIST Risk Framework, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and others. You are well versed with technology / security concepts such as Security Architecture and Design, Application Security, Network Security and Cloud technology.

Annual base salary gross:  $82,485 - $140,745. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union's total compensation package for employees.
