Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Data Entry for our glass manufacturing facility on the Northwest side of Indy. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurate data entry of quotes and orders in accordance with cut off and other time constraints
- Attention to detail is a must
- Maintain broad knowledge of clients, glass products and services of the organization
- Coordinate with production to meet customer deadlines
- Assist with expediting orders and communications with the production floor
- Various other team functions on a rotating basis
Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements
To be considered for the Customer Service Representative position, the following are required:
- Minimum of 1-year previous customer service experience, warehouse/manufacturing and/or glass, preferred
- AS400 experience a plus
- Computer experience and accuracy in numeric typing, required
- Strong listening skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work with deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment to meet required deadlines and remain highly organized.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both written and verbal
- Ability to read and perform mathematical calculations, and write measurements in number fractions
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings and specifications
