Job Description:

The Primary Therapist’s principle responsibilities include providing direct-care to clients and families congruent with the Program guidelines and conducting and/or assisting in the Intake & Admissions process.

• The candidates should have experience with adolescents and adults. These are full-time positions that include a full benefits package.


• Full training and ongoing support in our clinical orientation of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Emotion Focused


• Family Therapy will be provided as well as other approaches we will be incorporating into our program.


• High Focus John's Creek is heavily resourced in the development of its staff in delivering care with fidelity to evidenced-based practices.

• Requires 3 years in outpatient setting working mental health programs. Reasonable substitution of experience and education may be allowed in related mental health field.


• Requires Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited college or university.


• Preferred: 3 years post-licensing in mental health counseling. Reasonable substitution of experience and education may be allowed in related mental health field.


• Requires Georgia associate-license (LAPC, LMSW or LAMFT) as a minimum. Strongly prefer LPC, LMFT, or LCSW. 


• Experience with both adolescents and adults preferred.
