Shaner Hotels is looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to join our family at the Courtyard Hershey Chocolate Avenue. The ideal candidate will have successful management abilities in the hospitality industry with an emphasis on service for both associates and guests. The general manager must be able to prioritize and organize work assignments, while providing clear direction and support to staff while ascertaining hotel training needs when necessary. It is imperative that the General Manager motivate associates and maintain a cohesive team while specializing in exceptional guest satisfaction. We are seeking a detail-oriented and capable manager who can confidently enforce the excellence of hotel standards, policies, and procedures in accordance with Shaner and franchise, as well as become a visible leader in the local community.

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. A minimum of five years of progressive hospitality leadership experience is required. Excellent people management and problem resolution skills. Superior guest satisfaction skills. Demonstrated knowledge of hospitality financials, reporting requirements and industry measurements. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
