What the Technology Cash / Banking team does…

The Technology Cash / Banking team is responsible for supporting firm critical programs as well as improving numerous existing Cash & Banking systems.  These systems are custom-built and vendor-supported applications, used daily by our home office associates, 12,000 branch teams, and clients to move cash into and out of our client's accounts. We're seeking an exceptionally talented person to innovate and collaborate with our team to generate creative ideas that will continue taking these applications to the next level.

What You'll do…
Design - Perform analyst role in design, code, test, debug, and maintain programs
Develop – Modify and develop complex information systems involving most phases of systems analysis and programming
Adapt – Shift work between different environments and multitask
Implement – Analyze, design, code and document programs and enhancements
Test – Conduct code walkthroughs to ensure programs meet the specified quality standards
Plan – Assist with defining and meeting business requirements, preparing detailed software specifications, and providing program or system level estimates
Monitor – Provide system support, including on-call pager rotation
Mentor – Provide guidance, training and mentorship on the business impact of the systems supported, technical systems design, development of best practices, and IS processes and tools
What You Will Do


  • As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and delivery of solutions and technologies to support firm needs in the Digital Operations Experience domain, particularly with our Asset Movement Product. In this role, you will be architecting new capabilities and integrating systems across products.

  • You will guide and mentor teams on the architecture, design, and integration of business software across multiple product platforms while ensuring solutions are built with performance, scalability, and resiliency in mind.

  • Drive adaption of architectural patterns, design policies, code quality, and performance across initiatives.

  • This role entails an understanding of Product Teams and Agile methodology and practices, DevOps, and continuous delivery practices.

  • You will build strong partnerships and relationships with stakeholders in Product Management, UX, PMO, Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture, Infrastructure, and Security.

  • You will work closely with support, systems, and business leads to promote technical and functional upgrades, enhancements, and best practices/industry standards.

  • As needed, you will also be responsible for assisting teams with developing critical solutions which entail more of a detailed level role within the Product delivery teams.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems preferred or related work experience

  • 7+ years experience designing, developing and delivering application solutions for enterprise level development and integration projects

  • Practical knowledge of Microservices and designing/building REST APIs

  • Experience with industry standard tools: Spring Boot, Spring Framework, JUnit, Gradle and Maven

  • Familiar with sql and no-sql database solutions

  • Experience with Linux containerization, PaaS, or Cloud technologies
