The Recruiter position will be responsible for seeking out quality candidates, confirming their qualifications and supporting the hiring managers to place candidates in open roles at Turtle & Hughes. Duties include posting jobs, researching job seekers and inviting them to apply to a job, screening candidates through phone interviews and assisting with hiring paperwork.
Responsibilities
Support the company recruitment efforts with writing job descriptions, job postings and advertising positions effectively using job boards, social media and candidate search efforts.
Maintaining organized and current record keeping systems for personnel files (electronic and paper)
Assist with training hiring managers on fair recruiting practices, interview procedures and applicant tracking
Serving as contact point for new employee questions on benefits, policies and HR systems and procedures
Remote Work Requirements
This is a hybrid position that will work remotely and report to the Somerset Branch and may travel to other local NJ branches of the company. The specific schedule will be determined and is subject to change.
Internet connectivity with speed of 10 mbps or greater for remote work days.
A dedicated workspace free from distraction for remote work days.
Qualifications
Experience as user with ADP Workforce Now preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Entry-level HR professionals encouraged to apply
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of current employment laws and regulations
Diligent attention to detail, strong organizational skills and a tenacious ability to efficiently complete a heavy workload with minimal supervision
Ability to maintain highest level of service and confidentiality on employee matters
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
