Job Description:

Welcome to Mighty Dream, a space for Creatives to own and shape transformative work for Black and Brown communities.

● We are a creative advocacy agency connecting brands with people, purpose, and profits

We are looking to work with multi-tooled Creatives that thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Carrying a hybrid skill set as well as problem solvers that search for and can create unconventional solutions, who are deeply connected to purpose and culture, and who ultimately want to create opportunities for the communities they're from.

There are some specifics to cover (below), however we would be honored to work with you.

*Note this role is open to be based in major US markets or remotely in states where Edelman currently has an office.

Responsibilities and Expectations:


    • Working directly with, and reporting to the Executive Creative Director, your responsibilities & expectations will include:


    • Core

    • Developing original creative concepts, that deliver on brand and on brief, from conception to delivery

    • Exceptional ability to build and communicate ideas - in any form that will tell a story and get brands to believe in them. It could be in the form of a deck, a diorama, a sketch, a manifesto... doesn't matter, you just need to be able to shape ideas in a way that people will get them.

    • Presenting your ideas clearly to internal and external teams

    • Being culturally curious and staying aware of trends in culture and policy that affect Black and Brown communities, through business/industry monitoring and outside resources.

    • Building, leading, and collaborating with a team of world-class creatives to get the best out of everyone and the best result for the work


    • Secondary

    • Ability to own projects, demonstrate good judgment with all stakeholders

    • Managing your own time & deadlines

    • Working collaboratively, effectively, and respectfully with all internal and external partners

    • Having fun while you're doing it

Qualifications:


    • At least 7-10years of relevant experience as a creative in an agency setting

    • Other senior-level experience that demonstrates an ability to guide a brand or organization in culture-meets-marketing endeavors.

    • Experience building and leading a team

    • Relevant education. Bachelor's degree preferred. But experience is a primary criterion.

    • A portfolio with demonstrated examples working across multiple channels & strong art direction and/or design craft
