Nursing Supervisor Medical Surgical (PM) will be reporting directly to the Nurse Manager of Surgical Services and will be working with a team of tenured registered nurses. The Nursing Supervisor will Medical Surgical (PM) will also have the opportunity to work with Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Educators, Medical Assistants and Physicians.
The Nursing Supervisor Medical Surgical (PM) will be part of a family oriented department that has over 25+ beds and is outfitted with the latest technology, providing a full continuum of care. The units have been newly renovated providing a supportive environment for the patients and their families.
In this position the Nursing Supervisor Medical Surgical (PM) will assume responsibility and accountability for the planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to the patient, family, care partner and appropriate others. The Nursing Supervisor Medical Surgical (PM) will provide their strong hands-on leadership skills, stepping in to assist with patient care as needed. The Nurse Supervisor will also be responsible for coordinating patient flow between the med-surg unit and other units, working closely with the House Supervisor to ensure appropriate patient placement.
