Job Summary
We are seeking 1st Shift full-time AutoCAD Operator/CNC Programmer for our Denver, CO facility. The AutoCAD Operator/CNC Programmer is responsible for utilizing specific software to create CNC programs based on customer-supplied information and sketches. This program is run on a CNC machine on a production floor to create a finished product made of glass. Additionally, the position can utilize other software and cameras to digitize physical patterns so production equipment can create that shape out of glass.

Essential Duties
Maintain broad knowledge of clients, products, and services of the organization
Document customer interactions
Use computer software to produce programs for CNC machines
Use AutoCAD software to create DXF files for CNC machines
Read and understand sketches and drawings showing measurements and locations of customer requested holes, cutouts, or shapes in glass; then create error free programs based on the supplied information
Assist co-workers as needed
Requirements
HS Diploma or GED; Associates Degree or above preferred
Written & verbal communication skills
Proficient 10-key typing skills
Organized, self-stater with the ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced office environment
Entry level AutoCAD (2005 or later) training certificate or experience with the software mentioned above
Must possess the ability to read & interpret contract drawings and customer sketches as well as ability to create and modify drawings on a computer using provided software
Must have a high mathematic and logical aptitude, especially with fractions and decimals as a unit of measure (metric and imperial)
Occasional direct contact with the customer to discuss orders
Enter data accurately without error
Strong customer service skills, organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to multi-task and work independently
Motivated to start and finish a project on time meeting the demands of our customers
Must be highly detail oriented and able to solve problems with little guidance
Occasional overtime as required to meet production goals
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software
Physical Requirements
This position is a largely sedentary; however, caution needs to be taken when listing files, boxes, opening file cabinet drawers.
To avoid injuries to hands, back and neck, proper ergonomics should be maintained while working at desk/workstation.
