A word from the hiring manager…

My name is Darren Anglin. I have been working in the DEI industry for 8+ years. I have worked in marketing, program management, sourcing, recruiting, university relations, diversity recruiting, etc. If you decide to consider this role, one of the benefits include reporting to a leader who is experienced in this specific line of work (which I have found in my professional career journey is uncommon). For most of my career, I have reported to leaders who hadn’t done my job before. I have personally project planned, attended, and gotten hires from diversity conferences and events. I have personally, sourced, prescreened, and set up interviews with diverse talent as a former passive pipeline technical sourcer. I plan to be a leader that has empathy for the work you do and can deliver more prescriptive guidance on how to navigate barriers that come along with influencing stakeholders needed to be impactful in the DEI recruitment space. For new projects that I haven’t done, you can expect that we will work together to build.

If you come to Johnson Controls and join my team, you can expect to be challenged, build new processes from the ground up, and be intentionally developed by someone who has taken all the steps in the diversity recruitment leader career path. I am a leader that values talent that can operationalize ideas, document process, and execute. In return, I am a leader that recognizes your impact and will advocate for you.

Johnson Controls has a lot of work to do and if you join me, you will get global experience and be able to add the word “transformation” to your resume! Let’s roll up our sleeves and do this!
