CNA - 36 Hrs., Nights at Kendal At Ithaca in ithaca, New York

Job Description:

Full-time, 36 hours/week, Night shift, 6:45 pm – 7:15 am, three 12 hour shifts per week. Some holiday requirements.  Must have current New York State certification as a CNA.  Good communication skills and desire to work as a part of a team providing quality hands-on care to elderly residents in a skilled nursing facility. Ability to stand/walk most of the shift; ability to push, pull, lift and transfer residents using lifting equipment when manual lifting exceeds 35 pounds.  Assist with activities of daily living for residents in a skilled nursing environment.  Promotes and restores residents’ quality of life by providing nursing care as determined by the needs of the residents and their individual plans of care.
