What You'll Get to Do!
The Security Clearance Specialist will manage the security processes, competing priorities and workload in accordance with program needs and ensures the timely completion of tasks, quality measures, and mission requirements. Security Specialist will need a sense of urgency, be deadline driven, be organized and able to prioritize tasks you are executing and a self-starter that’s capable of juggling multiple projects at once and execute them to completion while ensuring that the company abides by the terms of the Security Agreements it has, with one or more US government customers, to safeguard classified information entrusted to it at its facility (home office or separate operating location) under the terms of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
Key functions you will perform!
Coordinates the security package process with candidates, hiring managers, and customers; ensures packages are current and updates managers and customers on any changes;
Screens and coordinates all requests for personnel security clearances with Operations Supervisor to ensure legitimate government/industry needs are being met, and assists eligible candidates with clearance processing
Collects, organizes, and tracks security forms and information
Reviews personnel security forms, such as SF-85, SF-85PS and SF86, for inconsistencies or omissions
Reviews credit check reports and communicates with the candidates regarding any additional information that is required
Communicates on a continuous basis with Recruitment staff regarding security packages and applicant tracking system updates, issues, and reports
Accurately interpret government guidelines/requirements, organizational policy and conveyed it to team members
Manage all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and other security activities which includes document/visitor control, personnel security and the security aspects of classified contracting
Supported Requests for Proposal and other business development efforts with security expertise and writing contributions to submitted opportunities
Build and managed productive relationships with security departments within Intelligence Community (IC) agencies
Perform other duties as assigned
What you will need to have:
Bachelor-s degree; a combination of college and work experience or 1year related Industrial Security experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
No less than 3 years hands-on experience in one or more security and/or intelligence discipline and experience implementing complex government security and/or intelligence programs and policies
Knowledge in personnel security for CSA’s and DSS
Experience with Security Records Management requirements, processes, tools and/or software
Able to obtain a security clearance, if required for assigned workload
Able to read and understand Statement of Works (SOW’s)
Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft products
Excellent communications skills both oral and written
Proven track record of working in a fast-paced, complex, and deadline-oriented environment
A favorable credit check for all cleared positions
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Successfully passing a background investigation
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Ability to obtain/maintain an ICE Clearance
Favorable credit check
