Senior Process Engineer - 2nd Shift at Yanfeng USA Automotive Trim in Harrison Township, Michigan

The qualified engineer will have a desire to lead a team of technicians and be a master root-cause troubleshooter.

• Manages, motivates, and leads the Process Technicians ensuring appropriate directions, training, and evaluation


• Develops and maintains the process standards in which all parts are manufactured


• Verifies and applies narrow ranges for optimum process


• Reviews production and operating records and resolves technical processing issues


• Follows established action plans for processes out of range


• Specifies project management and buy off of new equipment


• Manages exploration of new materials and processes in order to achieve the best quality, process, and reliability


• Complies data and analyzes past and current information in order to assist in the preparation of the budget; works with tool shops for all tool repair and maintenance

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience with injection molding with presses ranging from 85-3500 tons


• Master root-cause troubleshooting and problem solving


• Must have experience with valve gate, hot runner, and scientific injection molding principals


• Desire to be hands-on


• At least 2 years of automation experience


• Strong work ethic with the desire to overcome challenges and obstacles that arise on a daily basis


• Direct experience leading a team

Desire to work 2nd shift, including some weekends
