Position Summary:

Maintain accuracy, timeliness and efficiency in high volume, full cycle Accounts Payable global shared service center environment. Focus on continuous improvement in Accounts Payable accuracy and efficiency. Our global Accounts Payable department is responsible for accurately completing Accounts Payable processes including processing invoices, payments, customer service inquiry resolution, employee travel reimbursements, auditing of AP processes, and special projects as needed while ensuring that all process controls and requirements are met. This position will interact daily with internal AP customers/end-users and external suppliers globally in 13 countries that our department supports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage inquiries from internal Epiq end-users and external suppliers regarding invoice and payment status with exceptional customer service. The highest level of customer service will ensure Accounts Payable maintains and expands our relationships with these AP customer groups.

  • Research and resolve complex invoice and payment issues by reviewing end-to-end procure-to-pay process to identify and resolve the root cause.

  • Perform analysis of specific Accounts Payable accounts on a regular basis and take appropriate action when necessary.

  • Complete random quality review audits on various AP processes to ensure the highest level of accuracy and policy adherence.

  • Support SOX and Internal Audit controls/requirements in all areas of AP.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time

  • Support continuous improvement efforts to existing processes through the application of process automations and business process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency across our global AP team.

  • Perform analysis of various expense accounts in support of the month end close process

  • Process Accounts Payable payment proposals for all payment types in accordance with department procedures and cash management guidelines

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Complete special projects and other tasks as assigned by manager

  • Cross train on all Accounts Payable processes to ensure full department coverage

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:


  • 5+ years of experience working in a shared service center environment coordinating and processing full cycle Accounts Payable

  • Experience with an ERP system

  • Exceptional communication skills, oral and written

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Knowledge of full cycle accounts payable processing including utilization of 3-way PO match

  • Knowledge of SOX controls

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Independent with high initiative and self-motivation

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • SAP ERP system experience helpful

  • Concur Expense experience helpful

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and Outlook preferred
