About International Personal Lines (IPL)

IPL offers a wide range of products to meet the needs of the emerging consumer in the areas of Auto, Residential, Personal Risk Services and Specialty Personal Lines. These four lines of business vary in scope and coverage however converge when it comes to the target customer –

the individual consumer. IPL is offered in over 30 countries and sold through various distribution channels, including agents and brokers, dealers, banks, mobile network operators, and many other partners. Today, IPL generates in excess of $2B in net written premium, having tripled in size over the last 10 years.

IPL home office management team is looking for an intern to work closely with IPL Operations and Business Planning Lead to provide administrative support on operations initiatives.

The following reflect immediate areas of focus:

• Development of the IPL Playbook that defines each function within IPL organization, incorporates all important elements such as product inventory, ops and system landscape, learning curriculum, claims initiatives, audits, existing dashboards and tools, etc.


• Support with coordination and development of presentation materials for the quarterly meetings, notably the IPL broadcast (up to 100 attendees) and IPL Operations Quarterly Reviews (featuring Regional operations leaders interacting with IPL management)


• Support with Market Research for expansion opportunities by Line of Business or geography.


• Assist with Communications-related initiatives from IPL Village page updates to content development for the IPL Podcast series, with an eye towards potentially exploring regular distribution of an email Newsletter that consolidates major updates across region and line of business.

• Excellent Microsoft Office – Excel & PowerPoint


• Ability to learn new software (Hub Spot sales management tool)


• Quantitative skills – interest in understanding P&Ls, databases, how the business works.
