The HRISQA Tester I designs and implements functional test plans and test cases, based on system understanding and analysis of functional specifications. This role performs all aspects of product testing including manual functional, regression, smoke, performance, usability, and integration for our development team. The HRISQA Tester I is also responsible for identifying issues and/or defects and communicating issues for resolution.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and implement testing plans, including development of test scenarios and test cases
Identify and assess testing risks and review documentation to understand testing requirements, test environments and objectives
Provide input to the estimation process for the testing and reporting effort
Identify test data needs and work with appropriate teams to ensure data is available during the testing phases
Conduct testing in accordance with established information security and information privacy policies and guidelines
Manage defect management and defect triage process, act as the primary defect management contact on projects
Work collaboratively to identify solutions and resolve variance from product/application specifications
Communicate status of projects proactively to HRIS Leadership including advising Leaders regarding overall quality of project and raise outstanding issues through established channels
Manage and oversee the Workday Feature Release process
Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and with business units
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing solutions
May be required to lead the work activities of a small team of people in support of a project
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
What You’ll need:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technology experience
1-2 years’ experience in a HR, Training, or a similar role
Experience developing testing artifacts, such as test plans and test cases
Manual testing experience
Advanced skills in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Salary Min: $50,000
Salary Max: $70,000
