Today, Piedmont Plastics is currently hiring for a Receiving Coordinator for our Daytona team!


In this position you will be required to:



  • Unload truck, receives materials assigns locations, forwards paper work to Warehouse/inventory control manager.

  • Perform cycle counting of finished goods inventory

  • Read order acknowledgement, to determine items to be picked, packed and/or shipped.

  • Convey materials and items from receiving to storage racks or to other designated areas.

  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product.

  • Assemble customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station for shipping.

  • Mark materials with identifying information, bar codes, part labels, and records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.

  • Drive forklift to transport material and responsible for general warehouse housekeeping and safe work habits


An ideal candidate will possess:



  • At least one year of shipping/receiving experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
