The Senior Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring products meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance. This individual is also responsible for the development of all packaging for new and existing products. The overall goal of the position is to work cross-functionally with internal and external customers to ensure that all products comply with the requirement and exceed the customers’ expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and lead the Quality Team.
Draft, interpret, and implement quality assurance and packaging policies and procedures – internally and externally.
Work with Inbound Inspection Manager to improve returns/exchanges and improve customer satisfaction.
Devise procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality and packaging data; set KPIs.
Make suggestions for changes and improvements in packaging and quality and follow through on implementation.
Validate product quality and package integrity through product reviews and tests; monitor results and make suggestions as appropriate.
Provide recommendations on improving packaging and quality of the product.
Optimize existing packages for size, materials, sustainability, and cost savings.
Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure that we take into account critical data points to resolve the issue that best suits Arhaus and the customer.
Hold internal and external customers accountable for achieving positive results in regard to packaging and quality.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
Quality inspection, auditing, and testing experience in related field
Experience with implementation of corrective action programs
Experience in developing quality programs
Experience in working with furniture and decorative accessories
International experience
Knowledge of tools, concepts, and methodologies of QA
Minimum 5 years of packaging engineering experience
Strong project management and communication skills
Knowledge of corrugate, film, and other packaging materials
Excellent organizational, time management, technological and communication skills
Ability to manage stress effectively and to perform in a high-energy environment
Professional appearance and demeanor

Ability to jump in and work alongside the team
