Help Desk Support Technician - Government Services at Horne LLP in Ridgeland, Mississippi

Required Experience and Education:



  • Associate degree in Information Technology or a closely related field, or the equivalent combination or work experience and education High School diploma or equivalent is required

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to end users

  • Ability to research and troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues

  • Ability to effectively communicate with Tier 2 support issues that require escalation

  • Must have a sincere desire to help others while providing friendly service

  • Some travel may be required


 Preferred Skills:



  • Microsoft Windows PC support

  • Microsoft Office Application support

  • Manage support requests in a Service Management tool such as Jira Service Management

  • Mobile device support for users accessing online portals via various online options including iOS and Android.

  • Video conferencing software such as Zoom


Education

Associate or better in Information Technology or related field.
